I cook on all kinds of grills but cooking over charcoal is still my favorite way to cook!

HI! I’m Robyn Lindars, the “GrillGirl” behind GRILLGIRL.COM and the GRILLGIRL brand. I’ve been serving up grilling adventures here since 2008 in the early days of blogging! I’m happiest when I am testing out new recipes, particularly anything cooked over live fire: Grilling, Smoking, Campfire Cooking… As a girl who likes to eat, I try to keep my recipes healthy and full of flavor. I eat mostly (organic) PALEO and low carb as I tend to eat a lot of grilled meat and veggies, but that doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy a cocktail or the occasional piece of keylime pie! When I indulge I go all in!! If you follow my stories on Instagram you will see I share a lot of healthy eating info!

In 2019, I launched my first cookbook, entitled “Healthy Electric Smoker: 100 Recipes with All Natural Ingredients and Fewer Carbs” published by DK books/Random House.

In 2021 I launched my Sunshine State of Mind Craft BBQ Rub and Cocktail Rimmer, what many fans call the “Crack of BBQ Rub”. This is citrus based rub with notes of Kaffir lime, granulated honey, Himalayan salt and coriander that elevates everything it touches, and also doubles as a cocktail rimmer! It works well on chicken, pork, beef, veggies and even a margarita! It is junk free, preservative and gluten free non GMO ingredients you can feel good about using on EVERYTHING!

I live in Fort Myers, FL with my husband, an avid outdoorsmen, my son Hunter, and my 3 dogs (all rescues!). In 2020 My husband and I traded in city life in the greater Miami area for country life in North Fort Myers where we built a house from scratch on 30 acres – there was nothing but trees, not even a road or electricity.
